Yeni Alvarez. Spanish Voice of Disney Theme Parks Worldwide!
Bilingual – Cross-cultural – Latina
Born in Cuba and raised in Miami, Florida, to Cuban parents, Yeni is best known for two things: Her voice tells you to “keep your hands inside the vehicle at all times” in all Disney Parks, and for her on-camera work in the sitcom “Los Beltran” which gained cross-over national attention for doubling the ratings of the Telemundo Network, and receiving numerous prestigious awards including: Golden Eagle Award, Imagen Award, Alma Award, and two consecutive nominations for the GLAAD Awards against shows like “Sex in the City” and “Will and Grace”.
After a successful voiceover and acting career, this Cuban actress parlayed that into being the First Latina lead in a video game and lately, the voice of “Rosita,” the first true Latina voice character at Disney Parks.
Yeni is now focused on developing multicultural diversity themed programming for adults and children. Speaks 3 languages fluently and writes in 2. Spanish, English, Italian. She is flawless in geek, and some Klingon.
As heard on: Academy Award winning animated feature film “Happy Feet,” Nickelodeon’s Annie nominated TV series “Glenn Martin, DDS,” as the voice of Carmela in Disney’s “Handy Manny,” Viperine in Monster High, Aqua Maria in The WB’s “Static Shock,” Disneyland, DisneyWorld & Disney Imagineering, as Carmen in Get Blake! on Nickelodeon and Amorina in the upcoming Adventures of Pinocchio!
“Yeni Alvarez is one of my favorite VO actors. To begin with, she has a beautiful, natural instrument which I can only say is a gift from God. Her Spanish is absolutely flawless. In addition, she is one of the most professional actors I’ve had the pleasure to record with. She is on time, prepared, ready to work and always comes in with a positive attitude. Aside from all that, she has brought a great deal of joy to the millions of visitors to our Disney parks in California and Florida. I consider myself lucky to work with Yeni and look forward to many more opportunities.”

“Yeni was incredibly helpful advising us during the casting process while we were dubbing our show in Latin America. She is a true pro and has great creative instincts, and she is a great resource as a consultant.”
